As a company founded by two women, it is only fitting that we share our top 5 girl bosses inspiring us right now. 

Rachel Hollis, Author, CEO, and Motivational Speaker

A mom, blogger, and entrepreneur, Rachel Hollis is the ultimate inspiration for all things style, work, and life-related. After founding her own high-end event planning company, her blog quickly gained national attention and took off. Since its launch, Hollis has also written several books, two of which are on the New York Times Best Seller List. Her down-to-earth charisma and honesty make her content relatable and enjoyable. Jenna Kutcher, Entrepreneur, Podcaster, and Coach

Most known for her podcast, Goal Digger, Jenna Kutcher is a relatively new success story that has taken social media and the podcast world by storm. Starting as a small-town photographer, Jenna Kutcher has, in the past few years, influenced women all over the country as a small-business coach. Her online presence is uplifting and encouraging, all while providing tips and advice about the dos and don’ts of launching a business and navigating the commercial world. Emily Núñez Cavness, CEO and Betsy Núñez, COO

Of course, our very own Sword and Plough co-founders are two of the most inspirational women leaders right now. Emily and Betsy founded Sword and Plough on the ideal that a high-quality product could make a difference and promote change. While in ROTC,  Emily Núñez Cavness recognized a divide between military personnel and civilians, in addition to the amount of military surplus being wasted, and wanted to make a purposeful impact. In 2012, Emily and her sister Betsy founded Sword and Plough with a focus on creating quality products and incorporating veterans in every stage of the business, including giving back to veteran organizations.  Shurden Garrett is the daughter of a retired Col. in the U.S. Army. She moved twelve times growing up which allowed her to see much of the country and many parts of the world. She resides in Northern Virginia where she teaches elementary school.
